Providing essential Heath Care
Everyone deserves to have the right to basic medical care. Millions in Bangladesh, Pakistan and India are forced to go without healthcare completely. Public hospitals are too few and doctor’s fees too high for these poor people to afford.
Despite the presence of thousands of private clinics, many poor people are unable to go to these because they are poverty stricken and cannot afford to do so.
The inability to pay means people needlessly suffer easily curable illnesses. Many often sell what little they posses to receive treatment, leaving them poorer than they were. The result is increased poverty.
For as little as .50 pence a day you can help provide the poor people of Bangladesh and Pakistan access to essential health care.
Zaytun Welfare Trust is working to raise awareness of preventative measures, arranging free consultation with doctors, and dispensing basic drugs.
